I've been claiming that I was going to begin writing a blog for approximately 1 year, ever since a few people have shared with me how fantastic they find my stories. The happenings of my life have a soap-opera like quality about them that makes them ideal for blogging purposes. However, these supportive individuals are also my family, and I believe they have to be supportive of my humor because without it, my comedic stories and soap opera lifestyle may actually just be pitiful and neurotic. Without my humor, i may actually have to rely on my good looks and intelligence to make people like me, and that's just not a reality I'm prepared to deal with yet. So as fate would have it, a few acquaintances mentioned their support for this project and I decided that I might as well give it a go!
Besides, the absolute worst case scenarios are as follows: no one reads this, and I never become famous. People read this, hate me, and I never become famous. They're risks I'm willing to take.
Because honestly as a Junior in college what else should I really be doing with my time? College kids thrive on procrastination... or at least this one does.
This post is a mediocre post because I haven't practiced being funny yet. Once I become a seasoned comedian my posts will be better. I promise. Consider this my foot in the door. Practice blogging, if you will. I will spend large amounts of time practicing being funny and gathering funny material and just living my life and letting the pieces fall into place.
